creamy lemon, delish!
I mentioned this sauce in one of my very first posts on KKwac!, but the photo had somehow gotten buried in my folder of food pics. This is a very versatile recipe that you can use with different proteins (chicken, scallop, fish, etc), served along with pasta of your choice…mmm.

CHICKEN & RADICCHIO PASTA in a CREAMY LEMON SAUCE.
For the Creamy Lemon Sauce:
Ingredients: (2 servings)
1 tbs butter
¼ cup dry white wine
½ cup broth
½ cup cream
2 tbs flour
1 large lemon (grate the zest and squeeze for juice)
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
2 tbs thinly sliced fresh mint
½ tsp chopped garlic
¼ cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano
Fresh ground pepper to taste
Put butter, broth, white wine, cream, and lemon zest & juice in a sauce pan. When it comes to a slight simmer, add the flour and stir constantly until there are no lady lumps (and humps). Add the cayenne pepper, garlic, salt, cheese, and pepper. Mix sauce with pasta, proteins, and vegetables of your choice. Garnish with fresh mint before serving.

What kind of broth do i need to use? CHICKEN broth? Chotto am i yabai to ask this?
And, is Parmigiano Regginao same as parmesan cheese?
You can use whatever broth you want. I did chicken.
PR is “real” parmesan. You can substitute with the Green bottled stuff if you want, but it’s just as easy to get Parmigiano Reggiano (pre-grated, too) - good luck!
Parmigiano Reggiano? Never heard of it! We’re trying some new things out up here, where we probably can’t get that PR, but I had forgotten to mention the farmer’s market right here where we get our veggies. I’m still a little afraid to try your good stuff out. Where do you suggest I start?
