granola balls.
I love oatmeal. In fact, I should be Queen of Kingdom Oatmeal. My King would be Sir Quaker Oats…..you know, the white-haired dude with the funny blue pilgram hat.

FIG & CARDAMOM GRANOLA BALLS with TOASTED COCONUT.
Ingredients: (Makes 14)
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup organic mission figs, chopped
2 tsp cardamom
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tbs unsweetened shredded coconut (extra for topping)
¼ cup honey (extra for topping)
¼ cup Canola oil
1 egg
½ tsp cream of tartar
Bake Time: 14min, 350F
Ground half of oats in food processor. Toast coconuts in pan until flakey (if laziness strikes, go ahead and omit this step). Combine all ingredients, and place small mounds onto greased baking sheet. Sprinkle extra coconut before baking, and drizzle with honey after they’re out of the oven. Tastes like Fall!
