Here’s #5. What a great quickie!

SOBA with GROUND LAMB & YOGURT SAUCE.
Ingredients: (2 servings)
½ lb ground lamb
1 cup plain yogurt
1 tsp garlic
1 lemon (juice)
2 tbs fresh dill, chopped
Salt & Fresh ground pepper
Sautee the ground lamb; drain extra oil. Add lemon juice, garlic, dill, and yogurt, then bring to a simmer. Adjust flavor with salt and peppper. Serve warm with boiled soba.

healthy banana bread, yay!
My three best friends from college came into the city last weekend for a “reunion” of sorts.
“Remember how Kaka used to let her bananas ROT on purpose, just so she could make banana bread?”
“Once I ate Kaka’s banana bread and it was so toxic…it burned my tongue.”
Oh yea, good times. Well, since I’ve been in somewhat of a baking slump lately, I’ve decided to go back to the basics. Slight update: going healthy with no white sugar, no white flour.

KAKABANANA BREAD.
Ingredients: (2 mini loaves)
1 cup bananas, mashed
1.25 cups barley flour
2 tbs flaxseeds, ground (or flaxseed meal)
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup honey
1 egg
¼ cup Canola oil
1 tsp organic vanilla extract
½ tsp BP
½ tsp BS
¼ tsp salt
Bake Time: 20-25 min, 350F
