peafries!
There are a bunch of leftover ingredients in my fridge from the last-minute cookfest organized by Captain Big Kubo. She almost didn’t contribute any food to her own Potluck (…Sempai!) - but let’s cut her some slack because she was the guest of honor. Plus she followed through with a plate of yummy meat.
Anyhow, it’s exciting to find random things in the fridge…like lots of italian parsley!

CHICKPEA & GREEN PEAS FRIES.
Ingredients: (4 Servings)
1 cup garbanzo bean flour
1 cup milk
1 tsp minced garlic
2 tbs chopped parsley
¼ cup mashed peas
Coarse Salt & Fresh Pepper
In a sauce pan, heat milk and stir in the flour. Add garlic, parsley, mashed peas, salt, and pepper. Keep mixing on low heat, until mixture thickens (2-3 min). Remove from heat. After dough cools, knead dough into a ball, and roll flat with a rolling pin (1/2 inch thick). Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until hard. Cut into strips and fry in a greased pan.
