When Sis and I came up with this brilliant plan to make a ginormous football for the hub’s birthday, she told me to make sure it looked pretty. Somehow I always forget that “cake decorating” is one of my least favorite activities in the world - I wanted to cry and squirt ugly pink squigglies all over the kitchen.
(Look Husband, I got you a muddy football for your birthday…..)

Yeah that’s the best cake I’ve ever seen. Her standards are too high. Except with husbands.

doood. i want a football cake! that’s very cool. not ugly. am very impressed by it’s structural integrity.
I forgot to mention how the football broke off the stand as I was icing it - I had to glue it back on with frosting. That was a very sad moment in my life.

btw, your account reminded me of Miranda crying to Carrie as she attempted to decorate Debbie’s birthday cupcakes for Steve. … tte, I think I refer to that show way too much…!
